On October 12, 2024, the "Harvest Festival" was held in Peshkopi, a fair showcasing the region's typical products. Over 40 women engaged in the agro-tourism sector, supported by the WEDA project "Empowering Dibra Women in Agro-Tourism," participated in the fair, presenting and promoting their products, including agricultural and livestock products from their farms, handmade artisanal crafts, agro-processed goods, and traditional dishes.

The interest of visitors and consumers who visited the stands where agro-tourism women displayed their products was high. The new packaging, labels, and service approach offered by the agro-tourism women were particularly unique and more appealing to the public. In addition to sales, the women participants had the opportunity to create interactions and connections with other businesses interested in agro-tourism products for a longer period and in larger quantities.

The Harvest Festival fair in Peshkopi was a great opportunity for women involved in the agro-tourism chain in Dibër to increase the market access of their products, directly impacting the growth of production volume and income for their families.

The participation of women in the fair was made possible by the project "Empowering Dibra Women in Agro-Tourism - WEDA," supported by the Canadian Embassy through the CFLI "Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) Albania" and implemented by ALCDF.
