Goleci’s Guest House

Pershkrimi

Fitim and Ela Goleci, a generous family with a focus on tourism, decided to open the doors of their house and turn it into a Guest House to welcome tourists. Goleci Guest House opened its doors for the first time in 2019 as a guest house. It is located in the village of Rabdisht, 4.5 km from Peshkopia, on the way to Lixha or the Valley of Healing. Located in the heart of the picturesque village of Rabdisht in Dibra, it is a true gem that preserves Albanian tradition and hospitality. Surrounded by lush greenery and fruit trees, this traditional Guest House offers unparalleled tranquility for anyone who wants to escape the noise of the city. The stone building, with authentic Dibra architecture, skillfully combines traditional elements with modern amenities. The green and well-maintained courtyard is an ideal place to enjoy the fresh mountain air and the sounds of nature. The small balcony and stone alleys give the Guest House a warm and charming atmosphere.

This Guest House is the perfect destination to explore the natural beauty and traditions of Dibra, offering an unforgettable experience for all visitors. At the Goleci Guest House, every moment is a step towards tranquility and authentic Albanian beauty. Here it is not just a place to relax, but also a destination where you can experience the authentic flavors of traditional Dibra cuisine. The food prepared here is fresh and made with local ingredients, many of which come from local farms or from the Guest House itself.

At the Goleci Guest House, among the many traditional dishes of the Dibra area, sheqerparja occupies a special place on the table, especially as a dessert for weddings and festive occasions. Prepared with care and love, sheqerparja is a simple but incredibly delicious dessert that has preserved its authentic taste from generation to generation. This traditional dessert is a symbol of Dibra's hospitality and warmth. Enjoying sheqerparja in the peaceful and beautiful environment of  Goleci Guest House, under the shade of the trees and with a cup of mountain tea or coffee, takes you back to the old days when everything was prepared by hand and with great dedication. But in addition to the desserts, there are other dishes that, with their taste and the love that are prepared, fill the soul to the brim, including:

- Homemade jufka, made by hand and accompanied by fresh butter and village cheese.

- Flia, a symbolic dish of Dibra that requires careful preparation with layers of thin dough and baked slowly.

- Traditional lamb or chicken casseroles, cooked with dairy products and spices that give it a unique flavor.

- Chicken with jufka prepared with a delicacy while maintaining authenticity and also, there is no shortage of fresh products such as cheese, honey, cream, pickles, and seasonal vegetables, all prepared traditionally, as they used to be. Every meal at Goleci Guest House is accompanied by  Dibra hospitality and a warm family atmosphere, offering an experience that nourishes not only the body but also the soul.
