"Timeless tastes" cooking book

Description
This book is the result of the work of the ALCDF Foundation and the author Dhurata Thanasi within the framework of the project “Timeless Tastes: Discover the Flavors and Ballads of Kurbin”, funded by the European Union and implemented by UNOPS in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport. The project aims to develop tourism through the promotion of intangible heritage, where culinary art is intertwined with history, songs, festivals and local traditions.
During the community expeditions, indigenous recipes were collected, old cooking techniques were documented and intergenerational meetings were held that transmitted traditional knowledge to the new generations. A gastronomic itinerary “Timeless Tastes of Kurbin” was created, connecting guest houses, agrotourism and modern restaurants using local products.
The book includes 38 carefully documented recipes, preserving authenticity and offering a bridge between tradition and modernity. It is a tribute to the women who have preserved this heritage and an invitation to see gastronomy as a cultural asset and a development opportunity for the future.
