This project strengthened the institutional and operational capacities of five Business Support Organizations by helping them adopt internationally recognized quality-management systems.
The initiative aimed to improve the quality, consistency and effectiveness of services provided to small businesses and member organizations.
What We Did
ALCDF supported participating organizations through the complete ISO 9001:2015 preparation process.
This included institutional assessments, identification of gaps against ISO requirements, development of action plans, staff training, preparation of quality-management documentation, establishment of monitoring procedures and preparation for certification.
Key Results
All five supported organizations completed the process required to align their management and operational systems with ISO 9001:2015.
The initiative also supported follow-up auditing, helping organizations maintain their quality standards and institutional improvements beyond the initial certification process.
