Training Activities with Rural Women in Dibër with Support from the Canadian Embassy through the CFLI Project

Training activities with rural women in Dibër continued. On 26 September 2024, ALCDF organized a training on integrated agritourism at the Tourism Information Center in Peshkopi. More than 25 rural women from Peshkopi and surrounding villages engaged in the agriculture and tourism sectors (farmers, agro-producers, guest house owners, thermal spa small hotels, and handicrafts producers) increased their knowledge and skills in "integrated agri-tourism".

ALCDF, through the project "Women Empowerment in Dibër from Agro-tourism - WEDA," will support rural women in Dibër with professional training, new knowledge, market access, and promotion of agritourism potential to increase their families' income.

This project is supported by the Canadian Embassy through the "Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) Albania" and implemented by ALCDF.
