4 B2B Seminars Between Sellers and Buyers at Local Level. "Women Empowerment through Agritourism" WEDA
Four B2B seminars were organized with women involved in the agritourism value chain in Diber at the beginning of October. During these workshops, more than 80 potential agritourism producers and suppliers participated and they understood the potential value of agritourism and new markets. These sessions were organized as joint meetings with producers and buyers and most of the producers were agro-producers such as producers' groups of non-timber forest products, "jufka" groups, jam and fruit producer groups, livestock groups, handicrafts, catering, and other farmer groups in Diber's rural areas. Also, potential buyers (restaurants, hotels, specialty accommodations, shops, markets, etc.) joined these sessions.
All participants shared their products and needs and used these sessions as a meeting place for cooperation and business linkages. Furthermore, the WEDA team and experts will continue to facilitate and lead the process of B2B Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) agreements between sellers and buyers at the local level.
The B2B workshops were organized within the framework of the "Women Empowerment in Diber from Agro-tourism - WEDA" project, supported by #canadainalbania through the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (#CFLI), and implemented by ALCDF.
