Second Training "Farm Waste Composting" under the BEAIA Project

In implementation of the project "Clean Environment through Integrated Agriculture", enabled by the "Civil Society Program for Albania and Kosovo", financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway and managed by the Kosovo Civil Society Foundation (KCSF) in partnership with Partners Albania for Change and Development (PA), implemented by ALCDF and FFF, during this period the second training was conducted on the topic of "Farm Waste Composting" on May 21 and 23 with two different groups of farmers, approximately 41 farmers in total. During this training, farmers were introduced to the importance of composting and collection of agricultural waste on the farm, the main stages of composting, different composting techniques, the use of compost in agriculture, and the benefits of composting by providing them with guidance on the importance of composting as an alternative method for reducing waste in daily life. The prepared manual will serve in general farmers and communities living near rural areas or in private residences, and in particular the community residing in the Municipality of Divjaka.
