Summary Information on the Introductory Meeting of the Project "Clean Environment Through Integrated Agriculture"

On 30 January 2019 in Divjaka, an introductory meeting of the project "Clean Environment Through Integrated Agriculture" was organized. This grant was made possible by the 'Civil Society Programme for Albania and Kosovo', financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway and managed by the Kosovar Civil Society Foundation (KCSF) in partnership with Partners Albania for Change and Development (PA). The event generated widespread interest from farmers in the Divjaka zone, which was selected for the implementation of this project. The meeting registered over 30 farmer participants representing the main farms in this area. Following the registration of participants, the meeting was opened by the project coordinator Mr. Genc Juka, who emphasized the attention farmers should have for environmental protection during plant cultivation through self-monitoring of soil, irrigation water, and final products. Subsequently, the project moderator Ms. Mimoza Bezhani explained in greater detail the purpose, objectives, and activities. At the end of the presentation by staff from "For the Future Foundation" (Mr. Sami Vora and Ms. Alketa Zeqiri), specific details and expected outcomes from the implementation of this project were presented. The participants expressed considerable interest and there were numerous questions and discussions.
