Training Sessions and Joint Meetings with Women Artisans in Bulqiza Supported by the Australian Embassy, Italy with the Project "A Heritage-Based Tourism Project in Bulqiza"

As a follow-up to the training sessions and joint meetings with women artisans in Bulqiza, on 23 September 2024, the project staff organized meetings with individual active women producers of handmade traditional products in Bulqiza. Together, we explored and identified their needs for basic materials and goods to support and expand their craft initiatives.

As part of the "Handicrafts and Heritage: A Heritage-Based Tourism" project, we are committed to helping preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage of our region while providing growth opportunities for local artisans. By strengthening their access to the resources they need, we aim to enhance their craft initiatives, expand their market access, and improve their livelihoods. This initiative not only supports local traditions but also promotes sustainable tourism in the region.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to work closely with these talented artisans!
